The primary purpose of this will be to improve community health through cooking skills. Cooking and eating at home improves the diet quality for the whole family. This program aims to increase home meals by teaching children and parents the cooking skills. Cooking skills is one strategy to reduce obesity in children and adults.This class encourages individuals to utilize their senses in order to connect with the look, feel, smell, taste and essence of food. I will discuss the intuitive and mindfulness practices for cooking at home. Food samples and recipes will be provided. This class also provides meal planning and meal management
